This Refund & Project Delivery Policy applies to custom projects, website development, Customer Assistant Website projects, prototypes, integrations, setup services, and other professional services purchased from Onaaco.
1. No Refunds After Work Begins
Due to the customized nature of Onaaco services, payments are non-refundable once work on a project has begun, except where otherwise required by applicable law or expressly agreed to in writing by Onaaco Technologies Inc.
Work may begin immediately following payment, project acceptance, onboarding, receipt of required materials, or another agreed project commencement point.
Once work begins, Onaaco may already have committed resources including strategy, research, design, development, configuration, technology setup, staff time, infrastructure, third-party services, and other project resources.
For this reason, a change of mind, change in business circumstances, project cancellation by the client, or decision not to proceed after work has commenced does not create an entitlement to a refund.
2. Deposits
Where a project requires a deposit, the deposit reserves project resources and authorizes Onaaco to begin the agreed work.
Once work has commenced, the deposit is non-refundable except where otherwise required by applicable law.
Any remaining project balance will be governed by the payment schedule contained in the applicable proposal, quote, order, or service agreement.
3. Satisfaction Commitment
Onaaco is committed to delivering high-quality work that reflects the scope and objectives agreed upon with the client.
Our satisfaction commitment means we will work collaboratively with clients during the applicable review and revision stages to address reasonable concerns and bring the project into alignment with the approved project scope.
The satisfaction commitment does not constitute an unlimited revision policy, a guarantee of subjective preferences outside the agreed scope, or a right to a refund after work has commenced.
Requests that materially change the approved scope, functionality, design direction, integrations, or project requirements may require additional fees and delivery time.
4. Client Review and Approval
Certain projects may include prototype, design, development, or review stages.
Clients are responsible for reviewing submitted work and providing requested feedback, approvals, content, credentials, or other materials within a reasonable timeframe.
Project delays resulting from delayed client responses, missing information, changed requirements, unavailable third-party systems, or other circumstances outside Onaaco's reasonable control may affect the original delivery estimate.
5. Project Delivery Timeframes
Every Onaaco project is different.
Delivery timeframes are determined by factors including:
- Project scope and complexity
- Required features and integrations
- Custom design or development requirements
- Client response and approval times
- Availability of required client materials
- Third-party platform requirements
- Current project demand and production capacity
- Requested revisions or scope changes
Any delivery timeframe provided before or during a project is an estimate unless Onaaco expressly agrees in writing to a guaranteed completion date.
We will communicate material changes to expected delivery timing when reasonably possible.
6. Scope Changes
Work requested outside the original approved scope may be treated as additional work.
Onaaco may provide a revised quote, additional fee, or updated delivery estimate before beginning material out-of-scope work.
7. Third-Party Services
Some Onaaco projects may depend upon third-party platforms, APIs, telecommunications providers, artificial intelligence providers, hosting providers, domain services, scheduling platforms, payment processors, or other external technology.
Onaaco cannot guarantee the uninterrupted availability or performance of independent third-party services.
Delays or technical limitations caused by a third-party provider may affect project delivery and do not automatically qualify the project for a refund.
8. Client Cancellation
A client may request cancellation of a project by contacting Onaaco.
If work has already begun, payments already made remain non-refundable subject to applicable law and any separate written agreement between the client and Onaaco.
Any unpaid amounts for completed work, approved milestones, third-party costs, or other amounts already incurred may remain payable according to the applicable service agreement.
9. Legal Rights
Nothing in this policy is intended to waive or limit consumer or contractual rights that cannot lawfully be waived under applicable laws of Canada, the United States, or another jurisdiction applicable to a particular transaction.
